Luzira inmates celebrate 2017 PLE results success
36 obtained Division Two, 28 have a three grade while 20 made the 4th grade, and one failed the exams.

Inmates who sat for the primary leaving examinations at the Luzira Upper Prison primary school have celebrated the announcement of the results.

 

Of the 89 pupils who registered for the primary leaving exams, 78 sat were examined and three of these passed in division one.

 

Bosco Asiyanzu, who also passed in the first division is not in Luzira after he was transferred to Kigo prison.

 

Headmaster Gilbert Niwamanya says he has confidence that his pupils could make good grades if the government increased the funding of the prisons budget.

 

These pupils have life ambitions which they hope to achieve.
