The First lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni, has directed all schools to stop setting pre-registration tests or examinations for candidates.

To ensure that all the students that register for national exams are the best, most schools have been giving students pre-registration exams before registering them, those who fail these exams are forced to register with other schools.
